Detectives in Warren are investigating two shootings that happened in the city Tuesday afternoon.

Police were called to Trumbull Regional Medical Center at around 4 p.m. after hospital officials said they were treating a gunshot victim.

The victim, a Youngstown man, had been shot three times in the stomach, back, and arm.

The police report doesn’t state where the shooting occurred or reveal the victim’s condition. However, police say they were able to speak with the man who was shot.

Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Oak Knoll Avenue SE a couple of hours later where an 18-year-old man had been shot in the leg.

Police administered first aid until an ambulance could take the victim to St. Joseph Hospital for further treatment.

The reports list the suspects as “unknown” in both cases.
