Baby vitamins recalled due to elevated levels of said vitamins

Parents giving their child vitamins should be cautious the next time they do so.
A voluntary recall has been issued by Nordic Naturals for its Vitamin D3 Liquid, a dietary supplement for children up to 12 months of age.
According to the U.S. Federal Drug Administration (FDA), the recall has been issued for an elevated amount of Vitamin D3 or super potent dose.
Prolonged use of the recalled Baby’s Vitamin D3 Liquid could potentially lead to elevated vitamin D levels, resulting in vomiting, loss of appetite, increased thirst, frequent urination, and inability to thrive in infants, according to the FDA.
About 3,800 units of this vitamin have been impacted, with one-fifth already returned by retailers.
The cause of the elevated levels stems from a manufacturer's error, not reports of any harm caused from the vitamins have been reported.
