The former owner of Magic Tree Pub & Eatery in Boardman is looking to open up a brand-new restaurant at the former Cedar's Lounge location in Downtown Youngstown.

Former Magic Tree owner John Rudy tells 21 News he's working on opening up a new restaurant in the building, but would not give any more details at this time.

This is part of ongoing developments with the property with apartments, as well as a new restaurant opening up in the building that formerly housed Cedar's Lounge.

Previous reports from 21 News indicated that this restaurant would be a "varsity club" dedicated to YSU sports and YSU sports enthusiasts.
