Driver pleads guilty to charges after leaving Columbiana Co. accident that injured teen
A Lisbon man has pled guilty in a case where he allegedly drove away after a teenager was thrown from his pickup truck.
Columbiana County Prosecutor Vito Abruzzino says 21-year-old Bradden Crumrine pled guilty to two charges during a status hearing Thursday.
A grand jury indicted Crumrine in April 2023 on four felony counts of failure to stop after an accident in Wayne Township on July 24, 2022.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Crumrine was driving a 2004 GMC Sierra carrying six passengers along Steubenville Pike Road when the 16-year-old boy was thrown from the bed of the truck as it rounded a curve.
The teenager was flown to Pittsburgh Children's Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Crumrine's sentencing is set for May 16.
