HUBBARD, Ohio - Saint Patrick's Day is just around the corner and this year, it's coming right on time for the reopening of Saint Patrick Church in Hubbard.

After more than three years without a proper church due to a fire, Father Michael Swierz tells 21 News the church is just about ready to reopen to parishioners.

21 News previously reported that the church was dealing with problems with shipping delays for hand rails and brackets, as well as many doors arriving damaged. Father Swierz tells us all of these issues have been fixed.

Additionally, the church's organ has just been fixed according to a Facebook post from the church.

As of Friday, March 15, Father Swierz says the church will hold a Saturday mass at the Parish Center at 3:00 p.m. and will hold two morning masses on Sunday in the Parish Center at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. respectively.

The first mass back in the church building will take place at 3:00 p.m. Sunday.

Father Swierz tells 21 News it's great to be back and he along with his parishioners are excited not just for masses to return, but other events in the church hall as well.
