A woman from Youngstown has pled guilty after multiple guns were discovered in her car near where a three-year-old child was sitting.

The plea is in relation to an incident that happened in December of 2023 when Mary Zarlingo and three others were stopped in her SUV for an improper turn on Youngstown Road near East Avenue in Warren.

After a search of the vehicle, police found a black Taurus Gx4 9mm pistol that was loaded near the child that was in the area of the pistol, according to police reports.

Further investigation found two other handguns including a revolver that was loaded and a pistol that had several rounds in its magazine.

During the initial stop of the vehicle, Zarlingo and three other passengers identified as 19-year-old Mahki Crank, 21-year-old Kyle Larosa and 24-year-old Cierra Hawn denied they had weapons in the vehicle.

She also ped guilty to a third charge of turning at an intersection, which prompted the initial investigation.
