Westside Bowl raises money for animal shelter through music

Nearly a dozen bands took the stage at West Side Bowl, to raise money for a local animal shelter.
They all came together for the first ever Pawz Fest where 11 bands volunteered to play the show - to benefit All About the Pawz Dog Rescue.
While the show helped a Lot - organizers say they need more volunteers to help care for the dogs.
"We are always looking for volunteers," said Angi Westhead, the event's organizer. "We do shifts at our dog shelter about three times a day, each about two hours or so. We're just asking people to donate some of their time. If not, we also need fosters [and] we donations because our vet bills are crazy right now."
All About the Pawz says it hopes to have even more bands play the show next year.
"Any help we can get would be great," Westhead said.
