Thomas siblings sentenced for 2021 homicide on Youngstown's West Side
Judge Durkin sentenced 26-year-old Marquez Thomas to 18- to 23 and a half years in prison and his sister, 23-year-old C'Mone Thomas, was sentenced to 15- to 20 years for her role in the murder.

Two siblings were sentenced Monday in Judge John Durkin's courtroom for the homicide of 42-year-old Joseph Addison at an apartment on Youngstown's west side in December of 2021.
Judge Durkin sentenced 26-year-old Marquez Thomas to 18- to 23 and a half years in prison and his sister, 23-year-old C'Mone Thomas, was sentenced to 15- to 20 years for her role in the murder.
Both were charged with murder, aggravated murder, and felonious assault charges. The charges stemmed from a murder from December of 2021 in which Addsion was killed and three others were wounded at an apartment complex on Tyrell Avenue.
The Prosecutor's Office and the defense attorneys made the recommended sentences for the Thomas siblings and the judge agreed with their recommendation.
