A Warren man has pled guilty to the shooting death of a mother of four children in November.

Twenty-year-old Noel Flores has pled guilty to the shooting death of 26-year-old Ashantae Kirksey in her home on Francis Avenue SE back in November of 2023.

Flores pled guilty to one count of involuntary manslaughter with firearm specifications, as well as one count of improper discharge of a firearm into a habitation with firearm specifications and three counts of illegal possession of firearm on liquor permit premises.

Following the shooting, Flores fled the area and was in hiding until he was eventually found by U.S. Marshals in St. Petersburgh, Florida. He was found with a weapon that police say matched the description of the weapon used in the murder.

Kirksey was a nurse and mother of four children who had just moved into the Francis Avenue home about two weeks prior to her death according to neighbors.
