Thanks to someone driving along Interstate 680 in Youngstown early Wednesday, firefighters were called to a burning home on the city's Southside.

Dispatchers got a call just before 6 a.m. that flames were seen near Powers Way.

Firefighters found the fire at a home on Craiger Avenue.

Although the fire was quickly put out, the home's interior was severely damaged.

Although investigators said the home was red-tagged for water issues, neighbors told 21 News that they sometimes see people at the house.

No one was home at the time of Wednesday's fire.
