Absences force cancelation of Friday classes at Mathew's Currie Elementary
Currie Elementary students in the Mathews Local School system are staying home on Friday.

CORTLAND, Ohio - Currie Elementary students in the Mathews Local School system are staying home on Friday.
Administrators have announced that classes are canceled at the building because of a high rate of absenteeism.
More than 30% of the students called off on Thursday.
Teachers and staff must still report to work on Friday.
All other schools in the Mathews Local Schools District are open.
