NILES, Ohio - A family-owned shoe store in the Eastwood Mall has been nationally recognized by Footwear Insight Magazine.

According to a press release, the Reyers was among the winners of the magazine's 2023 Gold Medal Service Awards, awarded to the "best of the best" shoe stores in the country for customer service.

During the nomination process, the magazine sends "secret shoppers" to visit hundreds of shoe stores across the country. From there, judges use a detailed point system scoring the stores on a scale of 1 to 100. Reyers scored a 92 out of 100.

Reyers is no stranger to this award though. According to the release, this is the store's seventh consecutive year of winning this award, prompting the judges to call it "consistently consistent."

Reyers had been in Sharon for over 130 years before relocating to the Eastwood Mall back in 2021. It's received many accolades including the Sharon Herald's "Best of the Best" award, as well as a Gold Winner in the Tribune Chronicle and Vindicator's annual "Reader's Choice" competitions.
