Car crashes through garage door in Austintown

Police are investigating after a car crashed into a garage in Austintown early Friday.

AUSTINTOWN TWP., Ohio - Police are investigating after a car crashed into a garage in Austintown early Friday.

Firefighters were called to the 4000 block of Burkey Road, just across from Westgate Blvd., at around 4 a.m. after the car careened into the overhead door, which was closed at the time of the crash.

The driver got out of the car which stopped partly into the attached garage.

21 News is working to learn more about what led up to the crash and if anyone was injured.
