Plea possible for Warren man accused of beating woman, kicking baby

A Warren man accused of beating a woman and kicking a baby across a room could enter a plea soon.
Court records show a final pretrial and plea hearing March 19 for 27-year-old Tyrell Williams who is charged with Domestic Violence, Felonious Assault and Escape.
The charges stem from an incident in July of 2023 when Williams and the mother of his child turned physical with him allegedly punching the woman followed by kicking her one-year-old child across the room and body slamming the victim while she was holding the child.
Police say this altercation was captured on a video which police described as "hard to watch."
About one month after the incident, Williams was found and arrested in the Chicago area. He was taken back to Trumbull County where he was ordered to be held without bond due to the content of the video.
