A suspect's sentencing for his involvement in the deadly home invasion that claimed the life of a four-year-old Struthers boy has been delayed.

Brandon Crump, 21, who was found guilty of murder, attempted murder, and felonious assault in February will now be sentenced on May 1 on 2:00 p.m.

He was originally supposed to be sentenced March 19.

Investigators say Crump, along with Kimonie Bryant, went into a home on Perry Street with plans to commit a robbery.

Police say they knew that a resident of the home, Yarnell Green Jr., had recently received a check for several thousand dollars in federal pandemic unemployment assistance funds.

According to authorities, Green was shot several times while trying to run away.

A woman sitting in a kitchen chair, Cassandra Marsicola, was shot three times during the robbery.

Also shot were Alexis Schneider and her 4-year-old son Rowan Sweeney, who was sitting on a couch at the time.

A third person, Andre McCoy Jr. was also involved in the home robbery.

Bryant is still scheduled to be sentenced on April 17 and McCoy Jr. will be sentenced on April 30.

All sentencings will be done in the Mahoning County Common Please court of Judge Anthony D'Apolito.
