The Cleveland Clinic announced on Tuesday that it has reached a new agreement with Cigna Healthcare.

According to a statement in an email and a message posted on the clinic’s website, the agreement with the healthcare insurer means that patients can continue to receive care at Cleveland Clinic as an in-network facility.

An earlier agreement with Cigna had been scheduled to expire on April 16, 2024.

Cleveland Clinic has multiple facilities in Northeast Ohio, Florida, Canada, Las Vegas, Abu Dhabi, and other locations.

Cigna has more than 19 million medical customers worldwide.
