There was a heavy police presence at the Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Liberty Township on Thursday afternoon.

A video sent to 21 News from a viewer shows multiple police cruisers convened in the parking lot of the nursing home.

We're told by Trumbull County dispatchers that the presence was the result of a traffic stop with one suspect fleeing. We're told this suspect has since been apprehended.

Police officers on the scene tell 21 News the traffic stop originated somewhere else, but the suspect was uncooperative and took off eventually leading police to Heritage Manor where the suspect took off on foot.

Police were able to apprehend him soon after. Police say they still do not have the ID of the suspect at this time.

Youngstown Area Jewish Federation Communication Director Elise Skolnick told 21 News everyone in the building is safe.

21 News is working to learn more about this incident and will provide more details as we get them.
