Grand jury hands up murder indictment against Youngstown man for Boardman shooting death
A Youngstown man has been indicted in connection to a homicide from early 2024 in Boardman.
24-year-old Jerome Tubbs of Youngstown was arrested on February 16 by the U.S. Marshals Service Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force.
Tubbs allegedly shot and killed 30-year-old Michael Kosarich, whose body was found in a parking lot along Market Street in Boardman on January 6.
Tubbs was taken into custody after being found unresponsive inside of a car at the intersection of Indianola Avenue and Market Street. 21 News reported on January 23 that a search warrant was served at an apartment on Matthews Road in Boardman in connection to the shooting.
Tubbs is charged with two counts of murder (F1) (Unclassified Felony); one count of felonious assault and one count of tampering with evidence.
Tubbs's hearing has not been scheduled.
