House Republicans in Pennsylvania have announced plans to introduce the next steps in what they call 'commonsense' voter ID expansion plans.
Details on what exactly that means are scarce at this time. However, a spokesperson for the event said it will be a continuation of the work done last year in voter ID expansion plans.
Last year, commonwealth lawmakers introduced legislation that would increase voter ID requirements and mail ballot rule changes. Both were later rejected.
It's unclear at this time if the announcement tomorrow will be connected to these efforts.
Republicans plan to announce these expansion plans Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Ryan Building Atrium in Harrisburg.
