Victim suffers three gunshot wounds to leg after shooting on Southside

Detectives are investigating a shooting on Youngstown’s Southside.
Police say it happened shortly after 2:00 a.m. Tuesday on the 1300 Block of Humbolt Avenue.
Upon arrival, police found a male victim lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to his left thigh. When asked what happened, the victim told police "I got shot" but didn't provide any further information.
The victim was taken to the hospital where it was discovered he suffered three gunshot wounds to the leg. His injuries were not life-threatening.
Police spoke to one witness who told officers he was driving by and saw the male victim laying in the road and called 911. However, police say this witness did not see the shooting happen.
