Two arrested in connection with Youngstown shooting

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Youngstown Police have arrested two 20-year-old female suspects in connection with a recent shooting in the city.
According to police, 20-year-old Andrea Springs and 20-year-old Lisa Springs were arrested on warrants. Court records show Andrea was charged with six counts of felonious assault and Lisa was charged with six counts of complicity to felonious assault.
These charges were filed in connection with a shooting that occurred earlier in March on the 2600 Block of Tyrell Avenue.
The shooting in question occurred on March 16 shortly before 2:00 p.m. Police say when they arrived on scene, they were approached by a juvenile who told officers his aunt had been shot.
Police say the child's aunt had been shot in the foot and was transported to the hospital for her injuries.
