Students at several school districts in Trumbull County will get an extra long Easter break thanks to a technology snafu.

School officials tell 21 News that classes will be canceled on Thursday, March 28, because of internet and phone outages. That includes the Champion, Howland, Hubbard, McDonald, Southington, and Warren school districts.

Champion attributed the outages to a company called NEOMIN, which provides internet and phone services to the district.

The schools were already closed Friday for a three-day spring break.
