A Braceville couple faces charges after township police say their toddler was attacked by a dangerous dog at their home.

Jonah Fisher and Destany Myers, both 26, were scheduled for arraignment Thursday in Newton Falls Court on charges of child endangering.

Both were booked into the Trumbull County Jail on Monday.

Police say they left their two-year-old alone in a room with a dog they knew to be dangerous because it had been previously quarantined for biting someone.

According to a complaint filed by police, the dog attacked the child, who needed emergency medical treatment for serious injuries.

The complaint also alleges that living conditions at the home were unsanitary to the point of being a health hazard.

The court ordered that the two have no contact with the child.
