Rolling roadblocks planned for SR 14 in Columbiana Co. Friday, SR 644 closing Tuesday
COLUMBIANA COUNTY, Ohio - Two Columbiana County roads will temporarily close in the next few days.
State Route 14 will also close periodically to drivers just north of Columbiana on Friday, April 5.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol will have rolling roadblocks throughout Friday as crews run overhead fiber optic cables across the north and southbound lanes of State Route 14 between State Route 164 and State Route 11.
The intermittent closures should only last about 15 minutes.
Next week, State Route 644 will close on Tuesday, April 9, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. for a culvert replacement.
If you normally travel on State Route 644, the detour is U.S. 30 east to State Route 164 south, State Route 164 south to State Route 518 west, and State Route 518 west back to State Route 644.
