VIENNA TWP., Ohio - The Vienna Township Police Department is currently investigating after allegations of misconduct from a Mathews Local Schools resource officer have been brought to light.

Vienna Police Chief Bob Ludt could not give 21 News any specifics regarding the alleged misconduct, but describes it as "non-criminal misconduct." Ludt says the investigation is still ongoing at this time.

Ludt identified the officer as Scott Ardary. We're told Ardary is not a regular resource officer for the school, but rather a part-time officer who fills in as a school resource officer as needed.

Despite the alleged misconduct being non-criminal, Chief Ludt tells 21 News it is department policy that all allegations of misconduct are investigated.

No disciplinary action against Ardary has been taken at this time.
