Police have released the name of a man who was shot and killed in Warren Tuesday night.

According to a police report, 35-year-old Howard Dorsey of Warren was shot at a home along Lover’s Lane near Northwest Blvd. Dorsey was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

21 News has obtained 911 audio from the incident, in which the caller told dispatchers she was lying on the couch when the sound of gunfire woke her up. The caller said two other people ran out of the house after the shots were fired.

The caller told dispatchers she found the victim lying on the dining room floor bleeding out of his mouth. A handgun was on the ground near the victim.

Neighbors say police placed crime scene tape around the crime scene as they searched the area.
