It's being called the tallest free standing sculpture in America and Saturday, Aug. 17, it's being unveiled at the Cadobaz (Culture, Arts and Dining of Bazetta).

Called Lady Kindness, the nearly 30 foot statue, carved from white Carrara marble, is meant to be a monument to kindness.

It was conceived six years ago, during the COVID-19 pandemic , amidst division and strife in America. It was also carved using robots, according to the statue's website.

Designed in a Hellenistic style, the statue weighs nearly 80 tons and is meant to be a transposition of a Greek goddess in modern times.

Tickets to view the sculpture can be purchased here.

All proceeds will benefit the Avamar Foundation, which helps the elderly population get the help and medication they need through providing temporary financial assistance.
