A statewide Missing Adult Alert has been cancelled for a Liberty Township man by the Trumbull County Sheriff's Office.

People were asked to be on the lookout for 79-year-old James R. Mitchell who was last seen at 8 p.m. Saturday when he drove away from his home on Burning Tree Lane.

According to authorities, Mitchell has a traumatic brain injury and law enforcement is concerned for his safety.

Mitchell is a White male, age 79, 6'04" tall, weighing 212 lbs., and has brown hair and blue eyes.

The vehicle involved was a maroon 2010 Ford F150 with OH plate number DB86YS. The pickup truck has a 6ft bed. The photo shown is not that of the actual vehicle.
