Several departments battled a fire at an apartment in Columbiana County.
Green Township, Perry Township, Salem and Damascus Fire Departments responded to the fire just before 6 p.m.

According to the Salem Fire Chief, one firefighter was taken to the hospital after sustaining a knee injury, and one occupant sustained minor burn injuries.
The State Fire Marshal will be conducting an investigation into the cause of the fire.
