Fitch senior earns prestigious Questbridge scholarship, receives full-ride for college

Graduating Fitch senior, Grayson Weston, was awarded a prestigious scholarship from Questbridge, a nonprofit organization established with 52 college partners, dedicated to providing an affordable ivy-level education to high achieving students.
Weston applied to the nonprofit's College Prep Scholars program in his junior year of high school. Over 15,000 students applied and only 3,518 were accepted, including Weston. This program helped prepare him for the college application process by giving writing tips and offering college fairs for him and other scholars to attend.
After being accepted into the program, he applied for the National College Match Scholarship, which gives out full ride scholarships for undergraduate education.
Out of the 20,800 students who applied for this scholarship, only 2,242 were matched to a school. Weston was one of those students.
Through this program, Weston was able to apply to 15 universities at no cost and received a full ride scholarship for 4 years to Boston College, totaling close to $400,000. He, along with 114 other students, were chosen as scholarship recipients for the prestigious Boston College.
Weston plans to major in Physics and minor in Studio Art while at Boston College.
