The Nurse Honor Guard of Eastern Ohio is a nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring the lives of nurses who have passed away.

The Nurse Honor Guard of Eastern Ohio began with only two nurses in 2022, and has quickly grown to over 40 members, with 4 chapters.

“Nursing is a very tight knit community. We are caregivers. Even when we are retired we want to take care of others and each other," said Honor Guard President, Lori Prokup.

To join the Nurse Honor Guard of Eastern Ohio, you're required to have a valid nursing license, LPN, RN or advanced degree, and be in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
