YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Police are currently on scene near Summit Academy Secondary School on Shady Run Road for reports of a threat.

According to the Youngstown Police Department's Captain's Office, officers are currently responding to reports of a threat to the school. At this time it is unknown whether or not the threat was credible.

21 News has reached out to Summit Academy, but an employee denied that the school was under threat and claimed police were responding to an "outside matter."
