The Youngstown State softball team was eliminated from the Horizon League Tournament Friday night at YSU Softball Complex.

The top-seeded Penguins fell to fifth-seeded Robert Morris 3-1 in their first match-up.

Conchetta Rinaldi drove in the Penguins' lone run in the fourth inning.

Youngstown State then played Northern Kentucky in an elimination game and lost 6-3.

The Norse scored all six runs in the fifth inning.

Kennedy Dean got the Penguins on the board in the sixth inning with a double into left center.

Autumn Behlke followed up with a two run homer in the seventh inning but it wouldn't be enough for Youngstown State.

The Penguins finish the season 36-17 overall.

The Horizon League Softball Tournament continues Saturday at Youngstown State with Robert Morris, Cleveland State and Northern Kentucky still alive.
