A third person has been arrested for his alleged role in the 2022 shooting death of a 22-year-old man whose body was found in a Youngstown cemetery.

Nineteen-year-old Jacoby Maurice Walker was booked into the Mahoning County Jail late Sunday on a charge of aggravated murder.

Police were able to find Walker at the scene of a car accident on I-680. Police say he initially gave officers a fake name, but eventually provided his real name. He was then taken into custody on a warrant for aggravated murder.

According to the police, the charge was filed in connection with the case of Isaiah Helms, whose body was found at the Mt. Hope Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Liberty Road in February 2022 shortly after he was reported missing.

Walker is charged in juvenile court because he was 17 at the time of the crime.

Two others have already been convicted and sentenced for the killing.

Jamiyah Brooks was sentenced to 17-and-a-half-to 22 years in prison after pleaded guilty to charges of voluntary manslaughter and tampering with evidence.

Austin Jr., 35, of Youngstown, was arrested in Tennessee in 2022 and brought back to the valley where he pleaded guilty to tampering with evidence and was sentenced to three years in prison.
