Chief McKenzie tells us Heaton has since been charged as an unruly juvenile and will be transported to a juvenile detention facility.
Additionally, Chief McKenzie says more charges could possibly be pending against others involved in this case, but Heaton is the only one charged so far.
According to a police report, Heaton left her home in the 15000 block of Lois Lane at some point on May 9 while an adult male was watching her.
Police checked the Lois Lane home and the home of Heaton's boyfriend but she wasn't at either location. Officers took a report from Heaton's father who told officers that he found a note in his daughter's bedroom with an email and phone pin written on it.
