Musical instrument retailer and lesson provider Music & Arts celebrated the recent relocation and grand opening of its new Canfield location with a ribbon cutting ceremony Friday.

The new 3,437 square foot facility is located at 427 E. Main Street and offers an extensive inventory of band and orchestra instruments, guitars and keyboards, accessories and much more.

The store also offers instrument rentals, instrument repairs and private lessons.

Music & Arts District Manager Jarrod Durst says this new location is only one mile down the road from its previous location making it an easy, convenient change for current customers.

"This area is a vibrant, tight-knit community that has deep musical ties with Youngstown State University, which has a well-respected music program. Mainly we just want to keep the feel of the small-town music shop alive and make sure kids and adults have a place to enjoy and learn music," Durst said.

The store is open from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5:00 p.m. Sunday.
