'All available' Austintown police officers sent to stabbing at motel

Austintown Police say a stabbing victim lost so much blood she was unable to tell officers what happened to her.
However, another woman told police she was in the Super 8 Motel room when a fight broke out between the victim and 25-year-old Israel Agosto Monday evening.
The witness told police that the victim began hitting Agosto, described in the police report as the victim’s ex-boyfriend.
As the two scuffled, Agosto landed on top of the victim, according to the witness who says when she pulled Agosto off and left the room, the victim was bleeding.
Police say the victim had a deep cut on her arm and her hand was bleeding.
An officer placed a tourniquet on the woman’s arm until EMTs could take over.
By now, all available police officers had been called to 76 Drive where they found Agosto in a parking lot. Police say blood was covering his pants and hands.
Agosto, who led officers to a pocketknife he admitted tossing into a bush, told police that he pulled out the knife during the scuffle to defend himself from the woman.
After undergoing surgery at a Youngstown hospital, the victim was transferred to Cleveland for further treatment.
Agosto was booked into the county jail on charges of felonious assault and tampering with evidence.
