Softball: Austintown Fitch punches ticket back to state final four

Austintown Fitch beats Walsh Jesuit 8-2 in the Division I Regional Final.

Austintown Fitch defeated Walsh Jesuit 8-2 in the Division I Regional Final Friday at Youngstown State University.

Fitch junior Sydnie Watts struck out 13 and hit a homerun.

Sophomore Kylie Folkwein hit a two-run homer.

The Falcons are heading back to the state final four for the second year in a row.

They'll play in the state semifinal game Friday, May 31 at 3 p.m. at Akron Firestone Stadium.
