Youngstown Police have released a report on Sunday morning's shooting on the city's south side.

Police were called to the scene just before 6 a.m. outside a gas station on the 3200 block of Market Street.

According to the police report, a ShotSpotter activation led officers to the gas station where they found a man lying in front of the business with a gunshot wound to the side of his neck.

The victim was treated on scene and taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The officer checked the area but did not find any suspects or evidence.
