Grand Jury to consider case of Hubbard driver charged in deadly crash

LIBERTY TWP, Ohio - The Hubbard man who State Troopers say was the driver in a deadly one-car crash in Liberty is having charges against him weighed by the Trumbull County Grand Jury.
The case of 25-year-old Dylan Vrancich was bound over following a hearing late last week in Girard Municipal Court.
Vrancich was injured when his car struck a utility pole and caught fire along Colonial Drive in Liberty Township early on the morning of May 17.
A passenger in the car, 41-year-old Nicholas Thompson of Youngstown, died in the crash.
Unsafe speed contributed to the crash, according to Troopers who say Vrancich was driving while under the influence of alcohol.
Vrancich is charged with aggravated vehicular homicide, DUI, and reckless operation.
