WARREN, Ohio - Donald Mason, an eighth-grade student at McGuffey PreK-8 School, is being honored as an Academic All-Star by the Ohio Lottery's Partners in Education Program.

The program honors teachers and students statewide for their work in the classroom.

"He's a student who gets good grades, he is an honor student. He is very attentive in class which allows him to provide good insight in my technology class. His coding skills are exceptional," Jack Reppart, a teacher at the school, said.

For being recognized as an Academic-All Star, Mason was rewarded with Ohio Lottery merchandise and a $100 gift card.

The Ohio Lottery will continue to recognize students and teachers throughout the school year.
