Al Cutrona selected to fill Mike Rulli's seat in Ohio Senate

The verdict is in on who will be filling newly-appointed Congressman elect Mike Rulli's seat in the Ohio Senate.
The Senate has chosen Valley Representative Al Cutrona to fill the seat once held by Mike Rulli in the Ohio Senate. Until now, Cutrona has served as a Republican House of Representative for Ohio's 58th District.
This now leaves the question of who will fill Cutrona's seat in Congress following his appointment in the Senate. 21 News is working to find out who will fill Cutrona's seat.
Rulli will be serving in Congress throughout the remainder of former Congressman Bill Johnson's term. Johnson's seat became vacant following his appointment as President of Youngstown State University.
He beat Democratic opponent Michael Kripchak in the race for the seat.
Once the remainder of Johnson's term is up, Rulli must run once again and win to keep his seat in Congress.
