State Troopers say drugs or alcohol may have been a factor in a deadly motorcycle crash three miles north of Trumbull County.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol identifies the victim as 33-year-old Julie Gore of Williamsfield Township, Ashtabula County.
The patrol says Gore was a passenger on a Harley Davidson that veered off Stanhope-Kelloggsville Road north of Route 322 in Williamsfield Township just after 2 a.m. Saturday.
The motorcycle ran into a mailbox, and a bridge, and landed in a creek. Gore was trapped under the bike.
The driver, 43-year-old Anthony Konopinski, also of Williamsfield, and Gore were flown to Cleveland Hospitals where Gore died.
The patrol did not release Konopinski’s condition.
