Amateur boxing returns to downtown Youngstown Saturday night.

Southside Boxing presents its "Summer Slam 2024" with 12 amateur bouts scheduled.

Some of the local fighters include Anthony Scandy III, Chris Vass, Antwon "Radio" Peoples and Dontrail Burkes.

Doors at Penguin City Brewing open at 6:00pm with the first bout at 7:00pm.

Tickets are available for $25.00, $50.00 for ringside or a table of 8 for $400.
