Canfield's Amy Less Shope, will be named 'Woman of the Year'

Amy Less Shope, Managing Partner at the Lehner Shope Wealth Group, will be honored as "Woman of the Year."
She will be honored at a special event during National Business Women's Week, which is sponsored by the Youngstown Business and Professional Women.

Amy Less Shope has a passion for empowering women, and help does so through the Wealth group which offers boutique financial services within various locations in Northeast Ohio, one being Canfield, OH. She has a series called: "Women's Power Lunch" and a workshop series called Health & Wealth: Invest in Yourself.
Shope also has dedicated other parts of her life to the special needs. She has been active for 10+ years in the Autism community, and currently serves on the Advisory Board of Spectrum Education Center at Mount Union Univerisity.
She shares children with her husband Kevin, and became proactive in the area of special needs, as her son, Dylan is on the Autism spectrum. Her and husband formed Dylan's House, a 501(c)3 Non-Profit., which helps raise money and provide awareness for young adults with Autism.
The proceeds from the event will be used to help fund scholarships, helping aide woman pursuing higher education in the Youngstown area.
