Skies around the Valley will be lit with fireworks as communities get ready to celebrate the Fourth of July.

Skies around the Valley will be lit with fireworks as communities get ready to celebrate the Fourth of July.
From fireworks to parades and festivals, there's plenty to do for Independence Day.
Thursday, July 4
- Austintown: Fourth of July parade starting at noon at the corner of Kirk and Raccoon Rd. and ending at Austintown Middle School)
- Canfield: Firecracker 4 Mile & Kids Runs - Starts at 8:30 AM at Canfield Village Green (21 S. Broad St.). Register online.
- Columbiana: Family-friendly event at Firestone Park featuring contests, performances, music, vendors, and fireworks at 10 PM.
- East Palestine: 4th of July Celebration at East Palestine City Park from 1 PM to 11 PM with games, food, and events.
- Gustavus: 4th of July Homecoming and Parade starting at 10 AM at Gustavus Township Park (8867 Youngstown Kingsville Rd., Farmdale, Ohio).
- Howland: 4th of July Parade - 1.5-mile parade starting at 10 AM from Hunter Square Plaza (East Market St.) and ending at Howland High School.
- Newton Falls: Annual Parade and Fireworks - Parade starts at 9 AM from First Church of God (426 West Broad St.) with fireworks at 10 PM at City Park.
- Struthers: 4th of July Parade starting at noon from Struthers Plaza (corner of 5th & Rita). Also features a 5K run at 11 AM and a Kids Fun Run at 11:30 AM.
- Warren: W.D. Packard Concert Band & Fireworks - Concert at 8 PM at Packard Music Hall (1703 Mahoning Ave. NW, Warren, Ohio).
- Youngstown: Fireworks and food trucks at Wean Park (Downtown Youngstown) from 6 PM to 10 PM.
