There will soon be a multitude of road construction happening in Columbiana County. 

Here are some of the various construction projects that will be taking place: 

  • State Route 14T: This is a chip and seal project, and traffic will be reduced to one lane throughout. Completion date is September 30, 2024. 
  • State Route 39: Three closures will take place as rehabilitation happens 4.5 miles of the route. Each section will be closed for 60 days, and the last phase is expected to be completed in 2025. You can find more details about the road closures and detours for the project here
  • State Route 164: Resurfacing project two-mile section of the route from Lee St. in Lisbon to Miller Rd. Traffic will be monitored via flaggers. Completion date is September 30, 2024.
  • State Route 644: Resurfacing project seven-mile section of route from Summitville to U.S. Route 30. Flaggers will maintain traffic. Completion date is September 30, 2024.
  • State Route 7: Resurfacing project which will begin July 1st, two-mile section of route from south end of East Liverpool to Campground Rd. in Wellsville. Southbound traffic and one lane of north will be maintained throughout, and completion date is October 31, 2024.
