New superintendent for Newton Falls Schools to begin job in August

The Newton Falls Exempted Village School District has named a new superintendent who is gearing up to get to work in August.
The district's superintendent's office confirmed with 21 News that Andreas Johansson has been named as the district's new superintendent. He's set to start his position August 1.
Johansson will be replacing outgoing superintendent Justin Christopher.
Newton Falls School Board President Aimee Crowder tells 21 News Johansson comes with "high references" and is "extremely well rounded" in his experience in teaching, administration, negotiations, district operations and strategic and master planning.
"He is well known in the state for his no nonsense approach to promoting education, uniting communities, increasing report card score and elevating our school and community to a higher status. We welcome Mr. Johansson and are eager to have him come aboard August 1." Crowder said
