Skenes named starter for National League in All Star Game

The rookie is 6-0 in his rookie season

Rookie pitcher Paul Skenes will start for the National League in Tuesday's All Star game in Texas.

Four rookies have started the mid summer classic and Skenes 11 starts are the fewest in a career entering the All Star game since Mark Fidrych.

On Thursday, Skenes (6-0) pitched 7 innings of no hit ball and has a 1.89 ERA and 89 strikeouts.
