A Campbell man is awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to raping of juveniles over the course of several years.

According to court records, 44-year-old Christopher Figueroa pled guilty on July 3 to two counts of rape in connection with the rapes of a juvenile victim.

Figueroa was originally hit with 26 charges including 13 more rape counts, nine counts of sexual battery and two counts of gross sexual imposition. All of those were dropped as a result of a plea deal.

The charges stem from conduct that occurred between 2006 and 2023 with two victims. One of the victims was between the ages of six and 22 and the other was between the ages of 12 and 17.

Prosecutors are recommending a 20 year prison sentence for Figueroa according to the plea deal. He must also register as a tier III sex offender and is ordered to have no contact with either victim.

Figueroa is scheduled to be sentenced September 12.

Figueroa is one of two defendants in this case with the other being Susan Molleken, who is charged with four counts of rape. She's scheduled for a plea hearing Tuesday, July 16.
